Rascal and Collin
PART 1: So Brooke got a kitten on the 24th of july 2007, we named him Rascal and 2 weeks before his 1st birthday he escaped while Sean was installing our storm door. Rascal was mad because he had just gotten fixed, and had been trying to sneek out all week. We totally blame Sean for Brooke's broken heart, and all the sadness that followed. (hope you guys realize how much I rely on sarcasm) So that was in July of this year, we searched for weeks, he never turned up. I was not sad because Sean got a giant Maine Coon cat,Nick 2 yrs old, for Christmas and we already had Anastasia, 18 yrs old (who Xavier said she was so old she would not survive the trip from Vegas to Utah 4 years ago. Thanks X!!) 1 less cat was fine with me. Well Rascal came home out of the blue in October, Hurray! (again with the sarcasm) We decided to better help find him next time he escaped we would put a collar and tag on the cat. The great procrastinator that I am took 2 weeks to get a collar, he hated it. He escaped again. Now we looked for him but not as hard. He'll come back if he wants to, right?
PART 2: We got a puppy in June a little long hair chihuahua, Collin. I know, I am a glutton for punishment, lose a cat, gain a dog. So this is where the story gets fun, he's a cute little dog, not to yappy, and I came home from work on Tuesday and went to let him in the house and he wasn't out back, he escaped too. I am sensing our animals are a little ungrateful. The kids don't even torment them, they don't know how lucky they have it. I confess i was sad so I made this poster. Which is the whole point of my story. I thought it was cute and wanted to share but felt it needed explanation:
Lost Pets

Collin is a long hair Chihuahua, 6 mo old male.
Rascal is a 1 ½ yr old male, he has a lt. blue collar on.
These pets ran away 2 weeks apart so we do not believe they ran away together. However they may be in cahoots and have had a meeting place somewhere nearby. Neither pet is armed, although Collin has recently learned to bark at people so caution should be used. Since Rascal has been gone longer he may have found the wrong kind of crowd to hang out with, approach with caution. Remember when in doubt, always choose flight. Never fight with an animal.
Contact the Arnold Kids with any info; 586-8395 1013W.Brook St.
(the parents aren’t sure if they want the animals back, I mean probably we do, I guess. If it makes the kids happy, I suppose.)

The Results:

Collin returned after a few hours and on Rascal returned on Thursday.
You guys know that song right? "the cat came back, we thought he was a gonner but the cat came back he just couldn't stay away."
That is my life.
